About the Co-op
The St. Louis Game Developer Co-op provides support, resources, and networking opportunities for game developers in St. Louis, Missouri. We exist to help game creators of all kinds, including those interested in video games, tabletop games, card and board games, and other unique and innovative methods of gameplay. We seek to create a diverse and welcoming environment which contributes to what makes St. Louis a great place for game creators from all walks of life.
We offer a number of different kinds of events, including:
- Game Jams
- Educational Seminars
- Demo & Playtesting Events
- Microtalks
- Roundtables
- Workshops
- Networking Events
The St. Louis Game Developer Co-op is dedicated to a harassment-free event experience for everyone.
We have networking and educational opportunities both in-person and online. Our Facebook Group acts as an open forum where game creators can ask questions, promote their games, look for work or help, and share news. Our YouTube Channel is an archive of many of our educational seminars, workshops, and microtalks. We also signal-boost and support local game creators on our Twitter account, where we share news and updates from developers all over Saint Louis.
The best way to get involved is to attend events and join the conversation on Facebook! You can also apply for an official volunteer role at http://bit.ly/gdcoophelp. Only members actively involved in the co-op will be considered.
